Memorial Day Weekend

Sunday Rob and I went to see the musical Wicked. It's 'the untold story of the witches of oz'. It really puts a different spin on the story we've all grown up with. I really enjoyed it! The music was so good! They had very catchy songs and the singing was OUTSTANDING. I have to say that my favorite character was Glinda. After seeing this musical, I have a whole new opinion of her. I don't want to give too much away with the plot, you'll just have to go see it for yourselves.:) Rob really enjoyed it, too. I'm so happy Rob enjoys going to plays/musicals with me!:)

Monday, we just ran some errands and Rob worked out in the yard a little bit. Rob really enjoys making the yard look as nice as possible. A couple of weekends ago he wanted to get some flowers for our yard. I was hesitant to buy flowers for a house we are only renting. So, we compromised and got a potted plant for the porch and two hanging plants. Here are some pictures of Rob working out in the yard (with a helper) and the flowers Rob picked out.
